‘Nosferatu’ Sinks Fangs Into U.K., Ireland Box Office Crown as ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ Continues to Roar


Universal’s gothic horror 'Nosferatu' made a chilling debut at the U.K. and Ireland box office, securing the overall top spot with $6.5 million.

Curzon’s “Nickel Boys” debuted in eighth place with $159,201, while “Identity” from RFT Films Ltd entered the chart at ninth, earning $53,091. Zee Studios International’s “Fateh” is an action-packed Bollywood thriller starring Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez, while Parkland Film Capital “It’s Raining Men” is a French comedy-drama headlined by Laure Calamy. Elsewhere, “Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers” from Blue Eyes Films blends music and comedy, and for younger viewers, Vue Entertainment is bringing “Sarah & Duck on the Big Screen,” an animated feature that compiles episodes of the popular TV series.
