‘Nobody Wants This’ Begins Production In Los Angeles; Netflix Comedy To Return This Year
The Netflix comedy Nobody Wants This is back in production to prove that, yes, viewers actually do want this.
The streamer released an image from the set of the comedy that stars Adam Brody, Kristen Bell, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn. Four actors will join the comedy this year; Leighton Meester will play Abby, Joanne’s (Kristen Bell) middle school nemesis who is now an Instagram mommy influencer; Miles Fowler will play Lenny, Noah’s (Adam Brody) Matzah Ballers teammate who gets set up with Morgan (Lupe); Alex Karpovsky joins as Big Noah, an overly confident rabbi at Noah’s temple; and Arian Moayed arrives as Dr. Andy, a charming, highly regarded (particularly by himself) psychotherapist who might just be the perfect match for Morgan. Executive producers on the comedy are Foster, Bell, Steven Levitan, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, Bruce Eric Kaplan, Jenni Konner and Nora Silver.
