‘No Other Land’ Oscar Win Boosts Theatrical Screenings in Europe as U.S. Distribution Remains Uncertain (EXCLUSIVE)

Though 'No Other Land' has struggled in the U.S., the timely doc's global distribution picture is robust and boosted by its Oscar win.

However, the timely doc — which chronicles the gradual demolition of Palestinian houses and villages in the Masafer Yatta region of the West Bank by Israeli military bulldozers — still does not have a U.S. distributor. The distributor said that following the “No Other Land” Oscar win they are seeing a flurry of additional theatrical screening requests coming from Australia and New Zealand, Benelux and Switzerland, among other territories. “No Other Land” is directed by a Palestinian-Israeli collective of four young activists – Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham, Rachel Szor and Basel Adra – and produced by Fabien Greenberg & Bård Kjøge Rønning.
