‘My Old Ass’: Read The Screenplay For Megan Park’s Spirit Awards-Nominated Coming-Of-Age Comedy
The Megan Park-scripted My Old Ass Megan is a coming-of-age comedy about a teenager who encounters the adult woman she’s destined to turn into.
The LuckyChap and Indian Paintbrush production stars Maisy Stella, Aubrey Plaza, Maddie Ziegler, Percy Hynes White and Kerrice Brooks. It follows the irreverent Elliott (Stella), who comes face-to-face with her older self (Plaza) — her self-proclaimed “old ass” — during a mushroom trip before heading off to college. My Old Ass had its world premiere at Sundance, a first for Park, where the film was nabbed by Amazon MGM Studios in a bidding war.
