This is such a horrible situation that is sadly so common, I cannot tell you how many messages I get from women who have discovered that their boyfriend is in fact someone else’s husband or from girlfriends or wives who find out that their partner was with another woman when he said he was at work. So, in terms of moving forward to future relationships you should acknowledge that you do have good intuition, you do know what the red flags are - the difference is that next time you will have learnt and you will hopefully listen to your gut and run the second that you get an inkling that something is off.
