‘My Big Fat Fabulous Life’ star Whitney Way Thore opened up about her weight loss journey and losing 100 lbs
“I hate addressing this, but no, I have not had medical intervention to lose weight,” Thore, 39, explained in a Sunday, February 11, Instagram video while showing off her outfit ahead of her dad’s birthday celebration. The TLC series follows Thore, a former dancer, as she copes with gaining 200 pounds due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). In August 2020, Thore took to Instagram to reveal that she isn’t “uncomfortable” with calling herself “fat,” despite fans telling her to not use “such a mean word” to describe herself.
