“ Monopoly Go!” is crossing over with the Marvel universe for an in-game event that will bring Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool, the Avengers and more of the iconic Disney-owned super hero characters into the mobile game. In this “fantastical new experience, Dr. Lizzie Bell, lead inventor of ‘Monopoly Go!’ accidentally unearths a portal” that brings the game together with the Marvel universe in a new world, according to the event’s description. “When I first reached out to them, I didn’t know how they would respond, and the reason why is because it’s not an obvious place for Marvel to show up,” Scopely senior vice president of publishing Eric Wood told Variety.
