‘Moana 2’: Return of Threatening Coconut-Like Kakamora Tribe Teased in Work in Progress Clips at Annecy
Maui and the threatening coconut-like Kakamora tribe are back as 'Moana 2' work in progress clips screen at Annecy.
During the presentation, directors David Derrick Jr. and Jason Hand also included clips featuring new characters including Moana’s baby sister, Simea; and the crew for her next adventure, engineer Loto, farmer Kele and enthusiastic Maui superfan Moni. They also gave a shout out to members of the team, including their third director, Dana Ledoux Miller, who is also a writer on the film alongside Jared Bush. They also gave shout outs to producers Christina Chen and Yvett Merino, as well as chief creative officer Jennifer Lee.
