‘Mid-Century Modern’ co-creator Max Mutchnick revealed how Linda Lavin's 'Mid-Century Modern' character Sybil Schneiderman will be written off.

Her PR representative told Deadline that she died unexpectedly of complications from recently discovered lung cancer. Lavin’s other last recent project was her appearance Phyllis Adelman — nosy neighbor and owner of Mr. Bojangles — in Liz Feldman’s Netflix series No Good Deed. The multi-camera comedy series hails from Mutchnick and his Will & Grace creator David Kohan as well as Ryan Murphy.
