‘Memoir Of A Snail’ Filmmaker Adam Elliot Signs With UTA
‘Memoir of a Snail' filmmaker Adam Elliot has signed with UTA amid the awards campaign for his latest animated feature.
Released by IFC Films in October, Memoir of a Snail is an R-rated, stop-motion feature set in 1970s Melbourne that follows the story of Grace Pudel (Sarah Snook), an introverted woman who has endured a lifetime of tragedy. After losing her mother at birth and later her father, Grace and her twin brother, Gilbert (Kodi Smit-McPhee), are separated into different foster homes. Elliot’s unique storytelling style and meticulous craftsmanship, which he has dubbed ‘clayography,’ has earned him international acclaim.
