‘Mean Girls’ Sets Paramount+ Streaming Release Date
The 'Mean Girls' movie musical has set a streaming date following its January theatrical release.
An adaptation of the Broadway musical based on the 2004 film, Tina Fey’s latest rendition of the high school comedy surpassed$100 million at the global box office after six weeks of release. Taking on the role Lindsay Lohan originated, Angourie Rice stars as Cady Heron, who is forced to navigate high school politics for the first time after moving from Africa to the suburbs of Illinois. The cast also includes Christopher Briney, Bebe Wood, Avantika, Jaquel Spivey, Auli’i Cravalho and original stars Tim Meadows and producer-writer Fey, with cameos from Lohan and Megan Thee Stallion.
