‘Materialists’ Trailer: Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal Are an Epic Love Triangle in ‘Past Lives’ Director’s Follow-Up
A24 has released the official trailer for Celine Song's 'Materialists,' starring Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans.
Written, directed and produced by Song, the romantic comedy follows an ambitious New York City matchmaker who finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex. Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler for Killer Films, along with David Hinojosa of 2AM, serve as producers on “Materialists.” A24 is handling the U.S. release, while Sony Pictures has secured international rights. Variety ‘s chief film critic Peter Debruge wrote in his review, “Song, who was born in South Korea, draws on her own history and culture in crafting this truly special feature debut, a treasure that is at once achingly autobiographical and disarmingly universal.”
