‘Man Of Steel’ Writer Breaks Silence On James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ Reboot

The second Man of Steel hit theaters, two camps were formed on the internet: those who loved the unorthodox take that Zack Snyder and writer David S. Goyer brought to Superman, and those begging for a reboot. This has led some people on the internet to pit the faces of the two projects against each other, with James Gunn and the cast of Superman being attacked as proxies for the reboot, and Zack Snyder and David S. Goyer being used as bastions of the “old” DC Universe. During a recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the writer remarked that Gunn’s film looked nothing like Man Of Steel.
