Industry vets Matt Smith and Dan Gedman launch production company and financier Highway 10
After college, Smith started his career at the Border Webb Chervin Silbermann Agency and Revolution Studios before going on to work as an executive at Sean Bailey’s Ideology Inc., Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes, Offspring Entertainment and Oscar-winner Akiva Goldsman’s Weed Road Pictures. Gedman started his career in advertising before launching Outrider (formerly Liquid 9), one of the largest and most successful production companies in Kansas City. As a creative, Gedman has directed MTV award-winning music videos for artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Tech N9ne, T-Pain, B.o.B.
