EXCLUSIVE: Primetime Emmy award-winning VFX expert Sophie Leclerc is returning to France after more than two decades in L.A. to co-head Rodeo FX ’s new Paris office in the role of executive producer. Initially co-producing and directing documentary films, she found her calling in the visual effects field in 1999, when she joined Tippett Studios as Art Department Manager, before becoming a Bidding and Plate Producer. A pivotal moment in her career includes collaborating on projects by French director and producer Luc Besson on blockbuster Lucy and ambitious sci-fi adventure Valerian and the City of a ThousandPlanets.
