Love Island USA stars Marco Donatelli and Hannah Wright announced their engagement two years after being crowned the season 5 winners in the summer of 2023.

The Love Island USA star told his followers that both he and Hannah had experienced the loss of a parent, but believed that the shared grief helped strengthen their bond. Marco told Life & Style that the calculated rumors didn’t “bother” him because he had “thick skin” and even affirmed back then, that his romance with Hannah was the real deal. They joined fan-favorite stars Kassy Castillo and Leonardo Dionicio, Carmen Kocourek and Kenzo Nudo and Taylor Smith and Carsten “Bergie” Bergersen in the finals and were ultimately crowned the winners.
