Love Is Blind star David “Dave” Bettenburg struggled with accepting that fiancée Lauren O’Brien had been in a casual relationship with another man shortly before arriving to film season 8. Rikki also claimed that Daniel had been “plotting before the season even aired” after she viewed a video where he implied that he was going to be interviewed regarding the Love Is Blind drama. After the episodes aired, Lauren spoke with Vulture and admitted that she felt a “shift” in Dave’s attitude after they returned to Minneapolis and were given back their phones.
