The new trailer for "Long Bright River" showcases Amanda Seyfried as a police officer who grapples with the mysterious death of three girls.
Amanda Seyfried is back in a leading television role following “The Crowded Room” and her Emmy award-winning turn in “The Dropout.” Based on the New York Times bestseller by Liz Moore published in 2020, the limited series “ Long Bright River ” follows Mickey (Seyfried), a police officer patrolling an area of Philadelphia that was particularly hit by the opioid crisis. Alongside Seyfried, the cast includes John Doman (“The Wire”), Nicholas Pinnock (“For Life”), Ashleigh Cummings (“Hounds of Love”), Callum Vinson (“Chucky”) with guest stars Mihok (“Romeo + Juliet”), Britne Oldford (“Dead Ringers”) and Matthew Del Negro (“Wind River”).
