‘Loki’s Eric Martin Teaming With Victoria Warmerdam On Feature Adaptation Of Her Oscar-Qualified Short ‘I’m Not A Robot’
Victoria Warmerdam and 'Loki's Eric Martin are teaming on 'I'm Not a Robot,' a feature adaptation of Warmerdam's Oscar-qualified short.
In the original work, which won Best Short at the 2023 Sitges Film Festival, music producer Lara faces an existential crisis after repeatedly failing a routine CAPTCHA test, leading her to question whether she might actually be a robot. Currently, the project is part of TalentScope, an international talent development program organized by The Netherlands Film Fund in collaboration with the prestigious TorinoFilmLab and ACE Producers. She frequently collaborates with her partner Trent, whose OAK Motion Pictures produced the Sundance breakout hits Speak No Evil and The Wound, as well as projects that have premiered at Cannes, SXSW, Berlinale, and Tribeca.
