‘Lockerbie’: Patrick J. Adams, Connor Swindells & Merritt Wever Lead Cast Of BBC & Netflix Series
Patrick J. Adams, star of Suits, the most watched series on Netflix -- and all streaming -- in 2023, is returning to the platform with Lockerbie.
Merritt Wever, two-time Emmy winner, for Netflix’s Godless and Showtime’s Nurse Jackie, also stars in the BBC/Netflix series based on the real events surrounding the 1988 Lockerbie bombing and the joint Scots-US investigation which sought to bring the perpetrators to justice. The BBC/Netflix Lockerbie comes from World Productions ( United, the story of the Munich air disaster), an ITV Studios company, in association with MGM Television and Night Train Media ( Rogue Agent), which originally developed it. Simon Heath and Roderick Seligman executive produce for World Productions; Steve Stark and Stacey Levin for Toluca Pictures, Adam Morane-Griffiths, Sara Curran, Herbert L. Kloiber for Night Train Media, Michael Keillor; and Gaynor Holmes for the BBC.
