‘Lioness’ Actor Mike Heslin Dead at 30 After Unexpected Cardiac Event, His Husband Shares: 'Real-Life Guardian Angel'

Actor Mike Heslin has died at the age of 30 after an "unexpected cardiac event." His husband Scotty Dynamo (née Nicolas James Wilson), shared the news via social media on Friday, July 5.

He shared an Instagram carousel with photos of Heslin at different points in his life — beginning with a fairly recent solo portrait. Before ending, Dynamo noted that the couple was “3 weeks away from your birthday and 4 months shy of our 1 year wedding anniversary.” He concluded his heartfelt post with a quote from Shania Twain — “‘I’ll love you ‘forever and for always.’ ” A GoFundMe campaign set up to help cover funeral and hospital costs, and to provide support to Heslin’s loved ones was started following his death.
