‘Lilo & Stitch,’ ‘Mission: Impossible’ Hold Strong as ‘Ballerina’ Makes Solid Start at U.K., Ireland Box Office


Disney’s 'Lilo & Stitch' retained the top spot at the U.K. and Ireland box office for a third consecutive weekend, earning $4.7 million.

“Juliet & Romeo,” a pop musical retelling from director Timothy Scott Bogart, stars Rebel Wilson, Jason Isaacs, Clara Rugaard, and Rupert Everett, and debuts Wednesday. On the Indian cinema front, Dreamz Entertainment releases Telugu-language Pawan Kalyan-starrer “Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1,” while Zee Studios International brings “Daakuaan Da Munda 3” to U.K. Punjabi-speaking audiences. Other notable titles include the documentary “Love & Rage: Munroe Bergdorf,” distributed by Cinematik and opening in 25+ locations from Tuesday, and Central City Media’s Golden Horse-winning “The Way We Talk,” a Hong Kong drama from director Adam Wong, also playing across 25+ sites.
