‘Lilo & Stitch 2’ Live-Action Movie Set at Disney
A sequel to "Lilo & Stitch" is in the works at Disney.
The studio announced the project on 6/26 — a reference to the wild blue alien’s government name, Experiment 626. News of the follow-up film comes as “Lilo & Stitch” has grossed over $910 million at the global box office since Memorial Day weekend. Stitch-themed merchandise has been a huge moneymaker for Disney long before he and Lilo returned to the big screen.
