Leading U.K.-based distributor DCD Rights has acquired new music title “Life in Six Strings With Kylie Olsson,” which will launch next week at TV market Mipcom. It sees TV host and music journalist Kylie Olsson take viewers into the homes and at the favorite hangouts of some of the world’s most iconic guitarists, including Motley Crue’s Mick Mars, Def Leppard’s Phil Collen and Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme. Ahead of Mipcom, DCD Rights has also announced a number of additional sales for recently launched music content including feelgood festive title “Christmas at Graceland,” which has been picked up by Czech TV, HRT Croatia, TV2 Denmark, Globo Brazil as well as SBS Australia, which has additionally acquired “Electric Lady Studios: A Jimi Hendrix Vision” for NITV and “Chicago & Friends Live at 55” for SBS On Demand.
