Reese Witherspoon is bringing a 'Legally Blonde' prequel to Amazon; 'Elle' will take viewers through Elle Woods' high school years.
It’s been over two decades since Reese Witherspoon first starred in Legally Blonde, changing her career and the landscape of film and TV in the early 2000s. I’m extremely grateful to the incredible teams at Prime Video and Hello Sunshine — along with our amazing writer Laura Kittrell — for making this dream of mine come true. Along with Witherspoon and her Hello Sunshine production team, the series will be helmed by creator Kittrell, who has also worked on HBO’s Insecure and Amazon Freevee’s High School.
