‘Law & Order: SVU’s Octavio Pisano Making Feature Directorial Debut With Drama ‘Wet Under Blue Sky’
Octavio Pisano has wrapped production on his feature directorial debut 'Wet Under Blue Sky,' a drama in which he also stars.
The film follows a fading boxing champion (Pisano) who fights to hold onto his legacy, his family, and his sanity — until the hardest punch comes from within. Pisano exec produced under his production company Earthside Entertainment, along with Gavin O’Connor ( The Accountant), Evan Wolf Buxbaum, and Joanna Naugle ( The Bear), who’s also serving as the film’s editor. Pisano is best known for his starring role as Detective Joe Velasco in NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which in the midst of its 26th season, is the longest-running primetime drama series of all time.
