‘Law & Order’ Casts Maura Tierney as a Lieutenant in Season 24
Maura Tierney will play a lieutenant in the upcoming 24th season of 'Law & Order.'
Maura Tierney is joining the cast of “Law & Order” for Season 24. Though specific character details are not yet available, Tierney will play a lieutenant in the season, which premieres on NBC on Oct. 3. Tierney is best known for TV projects including “NewsRadio,” the 90’s NBC sitcom in which she played Lisa Miller for all five seasons; “ER,” NBC’s hit medical drama that starred her as Abby Lockhart in Seasons 6 through 15; and “The Affair,” and the Showtime drama “The Affair,” playing Helen Solloway in all five seasons.
