‘Last Week Tonight’: John Oliver Says Natasha Lyonne Should Be Cast As The Next Batman
John Oliver has some ideas for DC co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran as to who should be their next Batman.
On the latest episode of Last Week Tonight, Oliver discussed the Supreme Court agreeing to take on Donald Trump’s immunity case and whether ex-presidents can be prosecuted. Gunn and Safran announced they would create a new Batman-centered film based on The Brave and the Bold as the duo reimagines the DC Universe. In a recent social media post, Gunn said there were no scripts for The Brave and the Bold yet and no casting had been started yet.
