‘Last Week Tonight’: John Oliver Dings Fox News Amid Coverage Of Student Protests Over War In Gaza
John Oliver was back on Last Week Tonight after taking a week off and dinged Fox News over their coverage of college students protesting the war in Gaza.
Oliver said, “Kudos to that student for giving the calmest possible answer to what might be the dumbest question ever asked on TV.” The HBO late-night show host then mocked the Fox News reporter, asking a hypothetical, “If the guys with guns put you in handcuffs and drag you to the jail, will you go with them?” The comedian then read the potential obituary that the family would write in their honor, “Paul John Roberts passed away in his home when his eyeballs, heart, and butthole exploded at the same time.
