‘Last of Us’ Season 2 Casts Jeffrey Wright as Isaac, Reprising His Video Game Role
Jeffrey Wright has joined "The Last of Us" Season 2 at HBO, Variety has learned.
The character is described as “the quietly powerful leader of a large militia group who sought liberty but instead has become mired in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy.” New cast members this season include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny. He recently received his first Academy Award nomination for his leading role in the film “American Fiction,” for which he also got a Golden Globe nod.
