‘Lanterns’: Kyle Chandler In Talks To Play Hal Jordan In The DC Universe

The DC Universe may have finally found their Hal Jordan! A new report suggests the studio is eyeing Kyle Chandler to play the iconic Green Lantern in Lanterns.

While half a dozen actors from Josh Brolin to Ewan McGregor have been said to be up for the role of Hal Jordan in the DC Universe, it seems a a dark horse has entered the race to play the most famous Green Lantern. At the helm as showrunner and executive producer of LANTERNS is Chris Mundy, known for his work on HBO’s True Detective: Night Country and Ozark. Mundy is co-writing the series with Damon Lindelof, known for HBO’s Watchmen and The Leftovers, and Eisner Award winner Tom King, recognized for Mister Miracle and Supergirl.
