‘Lanterns’: Kyle Chandler in Talks for Hal Jordan Role in HBO Series
Kyle Chandler is in talks for a lead role in the Green Lantern series "Lanterns" at HBO, Variety has confirmed with sources.
Chandler is perhaps best known for his starring role in the high school football drama “Friday Night Lights,” which aired on NBC for five seasons. Per the logline, new recruit Stewart and Lantern legend Jordan are “two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.” “Lanterns” is one of several major projects announced under the DC Studios banner, which is run by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
