‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ Swings to Top Spot Debut at U.K., Ireland Box Office

Modern Films is releasing Malaysian filmmaker Amanda Nell Eu’s Cannes-winning “Tiger Stripes” that follows an 11-year-old girl who is carefree until she starts to experience horrifying physical changes to her body. Kaleidoscope release “Bermondsey Tales: Fall of the Roman Empire” is a gritty comedy-drama based on real events that tells the story of a south London crime family. Another documentary, Imax release “The Blue Angels,” follows the veterans and newest class of Navy and Marine Corps flight squadron as they go through intense training and into a season of aerial artistry.
