‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Goes Back to Basics in Epic 1st Trailer
‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ is the fourth film in Universal Studios’ ‘Jurassic World’ franchise and is set to release on July 2, 2025
Covert operations expert Zora Bennett (Johansson) tries to secure the genetic material from the dinosaurs but her efforts end with her getting stranded with a civilian family on an island that holds a secret kept from humanity. “I’m not sure what [the studio’s] plans are, but it felt like the beginning of a brand-new chapter in this franchise,” he told the outlet, calling Rebirth “a giant love letter to Steven Spielberg and his earlier films,” including Jaws. Universal Pictures and Amblin EntertainmentPer the studio’s official synopsis, the film takes place five years after the events of 2022’s Jurassic World Dominion, with Johansson’s Bennett contracted to lead a secret mission to obtain life-saving genetic material from the three biggest living creatures on earth, but Bennett’s mission is complicated when her and her team encounter a civilian family who have been stranded on the dinosaur-infested island.
