Marc Zorn, who heads content protection and production security at Marvel Studios and is co-chair of the Media Technology Summit, said the session will offer attendees a chance to learn from an accomplished cinematographer and business owner. Sher earned an Oscar and BAFTA nomination for his work on 2019’s “Joker.” His other films include the “Hangover” trilogy, 2004’s “Garden State” and 2010’s “Due Date.” He directed the 2017 comedy “Father Figures” as well as episodes of the Peacock comedy series “Rutherford Falls.” Sher launched ShotDeck in 2021 in an effort to make it easier for filmmakers and educators find reference material.
