‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Guest Host Jeff Goldblum Helps Working Actors Qualify For Health Insurance — And They All Look Like Him
Jeff Goldblum guest hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, introducing a segment that allowed working actors to qualify for health insurance
Guest host Goldblum introduced a segment to the audience in which he said they’d be inviting some working actors on stage to a deliver a few lines, and get paid, so they could meet the qualifying annual income threshold — only to find them all dressed as the Jurassic Park star. The segment follows a casting notice the late-night show posted in July that called for actors within $1,401 of meeting the SAG-AFTRA health insurance minimum earnings requirement to be considered for the role. Two years ago, Kerry Washington guest hosted an episode where actors were invited on the show to deliver a line, once again solely for the purpose of claiming their health insurance.
