Although the meeting was awkward, the pair seemingly moved past the weird feelings and engaged in similar conversations together in the season 8 trailer. The clip cut to the Reality Check: Making the Best of The Situation author, who replied, “I cannot confirm or deny as they take on uncharted territory.”
