"Iyanu," the animated fantasy series based on Roye Okupe’s Nigerian graphic novel, has been renewed for Season 2 by Cartoon Network and HBO Max.

Cartoon Network and HBO Max have officially renewed “Iyanu,” the animated fantasy series based on Roye Okupe’s Nigerian graphic novel, for Season 2. We’re grateful for the continued support of our partners at Cartoon Network and Max, and it’s been a lot of fun working with Roye to bring Iyanu to life and build the franchise.” Executive producers include Steward II, Stephanie Sperber, Kirsten Newlands and Matt Heath from Lion Forge Entertainment, Erica Dupuis from Impact X Capital, Ryan Haidarian from Forefront Media Group and Doug Schwalbe from Superprod.
