Saoirse Ronan opened up about her own personal experience of alcoholism and addiction with her loved ones amid the release of her latest film The Outrun.
The drama marks the four-time Oscar nominee's first time producing a movie, in which she stars as newly-rehabbed alcoholic Rona returning to her Orkney Islands hometown. Saoirse previously explained to The Sunday Times how she was able to draw from a deep well of experience while preparing for the role, having 'been on the receiving end' of the pain and damage caused by addiction.
