In his first appearance as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff faced a comical version of a question that has been asked of his wife, Democratic nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris. Kimmel was referencing Donald Trump’s questioning last month of Harris’ racial identity, something that she has dismissed as the “same old tired playbook” rather than take the bait from her GOP rival. Ironically, since Harris launched her presidential bid after Joe Biden dropped out of the race, Emhoff said that it has been a bit of a whirlwind, with less “happy couple” time available between him and his wife.
