‘Inside Out 2’ Sets Disney+ Streaming Date
"Inside Out 2" will soon be available to stream on Disney+.
Released on June 14, the film follows the five familiar emotions from the first “Inside Out,” Joy (Amy Poehler), Anger (Lewis Black), Fear (Tony Hale), Sadness (Phyllis Smith) and Disgust (Liza Lapira), as they navigate Riley (Kensington Tallman) through the beginnings of puberty. But as Riley heads off to a sleep-away hockey camp, Anxiety (Maya Hawke), Embarrassment (Paul Walter Hauser), Envy (Ayo Edebiri) and Ennui/Bordem (Adèle Exarchopoulus) take over the control room, evicting the originals from their post. Variety film critic Owen Gleiberman wrote in his review, “‘Inside Out 2’ marks a triumphant creative return for Pixar, bringing off the thing that this studio, at its best, has done better than anyone: finding the sweet spot that merges the gaze of children and adults.
