‘Inside Out 2’ Sets Disney+ Premiere Date
'Inside Out 2' has been set to begin streaming on Disney+ on September 25, Pixar announced on Thursday.
The coming-of-age film follows up Inside Out, Pixar’s 2015 Oscar winner directed by Pete Docter, which won hearts with its depiction of a young girl named Riley and the complex emotions she faces, all of which are brought to life on screen. Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Diane Lane, and Kyle MacLachlan reprised their voice roles, with Maya Hawke, Kensington Tallman, Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, Ayo Edebiri, Lilimar, Grace Lu, Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green, Adèle Exarchopoulos, and Paul Walter Hauser marking new additions to the cast. Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein penned the script, with Mark Nielsen producing the pic, which should be a major awards contender this season.
