The cast of HBO ‘s Insecure will reunite to host a free screening of the new Keke Palmer/ SZA buddy comedy on Saturday at 2pm at AMC The Grove 14 “for a moment of levity” for those impacted by the recent Los Angeles County wildfires. Thank you!” wrote Rae on her Instagram Story, sharing a flier posted by her Insecure co-star Yvonne Orji, which reads: “We know the city is hurtin’ so we got y’all!” Partially based on her web series Awkward Black Girl, Rae previously created and starred in Insecure for its five-season run on HBO from 2016 to 2021, earning three Golden Globe nominations and seven Emmy nods for her work.
