Wolves takes place in Beirut during Lebanon’s real-life 2019 economic collapse and revolves around a young woman who is unable to withdraw her life’s savings, which she needs to pay for her sister’s uterus cancer surgery. Writer Mariana’s recent credits include the Sam Esmail-produced miniseries Angelyne as well as several collaborations with Kodeih on Apple’s Little America as well as award-winning shorts Alina and Maki & Zorro.
