'I worked on 60 Minute Makeover - here's how they fake the whole show'
Craig Phillips, who won the first ever series of Big Brother, has claimed that ITV's 60 Minute Makeover was 'faked' and debunked the myth that all the work was done in an hour
Talking with The Daily Star, he explained how the transformation team would get ahead by turning off and disassembling appliances and furniture before filming commenced, insisting they performed essential "vital preparations" outside of the allocated timeframe. "So off camera, we will go in, we will isolate all the boarded stuff, the electric, the gas, the water underneath disconnect it, put caps on everything- making sure it's all safe. The programme boasted a star-studded line-up of presenters, including Claire Sweeney, Terri Dwyer, Linda Barker, Catherine Gee and Peter Andre.
