'I work on Love Island here's exactly how many cameras there are in the villa'

The team behind Love Island have opened up about what they look for when casting for the ITV2 dating show and reveal exactly how many cameras there are in the famous villa

The twelfth series kicked off on Monday (June 9) night as 12 new sexy singletons entered the vila but it wasn't long before they were joined by the show's first-ever American bombshell Toni Laites. Host Maya Jama has teased more twists and turns than ever before this year and the first surprise came at the end of the launch episode as Toni picked to couple up with Ben Holbrough, leaving Shakira Khan single. Opening up on what the team look for, Casting Assistant Producer Lois Perry added: "A great personality is definitely key, definitely got to be able to hold a conversation, have some good stories and also have a laugh with us.
