Our writer discovered the perfect digital detox escape for families or couples at Hadspen Glamping’s luxury eco lodges, in the heart of the Somerset countryside
There are ample outdoor spaces and seating where we sat with a cup of coffee in the morning listening to the birds, and enjoyed the views in the evening as we cooked pizzas on the barbecue and toasted marshmallows. The lodges come with hot tubs and barbecues to enjoy (Image: Owen Howells Photography) We could have quite easily stayed at the tent site every day but we did want to explore the local surroundings, and we’re very glad we did. If you don't fancy driving we recommend visiting The Newt in Somerset, a country estate with magnificent woodland and gardens just an eight minute walk from the Hadspen glamping site.
