'I tried a 'Smart Laundry' dehumidifier that dries clothes quickly for 3p per-hour'

I tried the Meaco MeacoDry Arete dehumidifier for a week to see if it could speed up my laundry drying time in autumn - and I was not disappointed

The brand suggested running the laundry on an extra spin and drain cycle before unloading from the washing machine to get rid of any excess water, reports the Mirror. Even though the 10L model is the smallest dehumidifier Meaco currently offers, the tank held enough water during testing to run about two full Smart Laundry programmes before it needed emptying.
