'I took a DNA test - then realised I'd been married to my cousin for a decade'

One couple were left feeling a little sick to their stomachs when they took a DNA test and realised they were actually cousins - but they decided to stay together

Opening up on the Love Don't Judge podcast, she revealed: "I started really diving into my DNA because I wanted to find out my heritage - my daughter is really dark-skinned, and my son has curly hair my middle child is light-skinned, and everyone would ask 'what are you what are you?' It was later unveiled that Joe's paternal grandmother was an adoptee, which, due to shoddy record-keeping, obscured the discovery of their familial tie. Nonetheless, the couple has taken a unique step by launching their own dating site, named Before We Be, aimed at preventing others from accidentally entering into romantic relationships with relatives.
