As the proud mum of a pug, Penelope, who shares my dislike for being out in the rain, cold, wind, and basically any weather that isn't a lovely summer day, I've started using puzzle toys to prevent her from getting bored at home. Simply fill each compartment with treats, close the lid and watch as they figure out how to flip open each section for their tasty reward. This covers the compartments, making it impossible to flip them open without moving the spinner - adding an extra layer of mental stimulation.
